More than ever this great verse of scripture rings true:
"Behold now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation." II Cor. 6:2
More now, that ever in our time, we are aware that we should not be looking to tomorrow, but doing today what needs to be done.
--The preacher struggles to find just the message for what could
be the last one preached, so important to be faithful to God
and his word.
--The Christian lifts his heart to God in prayer "God help me this
this day to give a clear witness to the saving power of Christ at
my post of duty as a watchman.
--The lost individual that he may they realize there is no
assurance of tomorrow, but the promise for this moment is
sure.
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him
from the dead, thiou shalt be saved." Rom. 10:9
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall
be saved." Rom. 10:13
Today, Today, Today give it all you have, tomorrow may never
come. The choices we make today may well effect our lives and
the lives of others for ETERNITY. If tomorrow comes, we will not
regret giving the Lord our best TODAY.
Have a blessed day and if the Lord tarries a great week.
