"Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest: behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest." John 4:35
Remember riding pass a field full of ripened peaches, sweet corn, big sweet melons and thinking,"Sure would be nice to gather a few." We could not because it was not our field, and we had no access. Well, now you have a ripened field, and you and I are not only welcome to go, we are encouraged to gather the fruit that is ready. We all know this is a call to reach out with the Good News to those who are about to perish. Some are around out table, in our community, at school, at the work place, even scattered in the church pews; go tell the Good News! As we do remember:
"And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together." John 4:36. Have a great time this week in the field; "white already to harvest."
